As a Learning & Organizational Consultant, Ellen combines her experience with organizational development and technology to create instructional design that is both engaging and human-centered. Ellen also works at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy as a Human Resources Generalist, and previously worked at Oxfam. She has expertise in leadership coaching and team facilitation, and is known to adeptly read and respond to a room.
Ellen holds a Master's in Organizational Psychology from William James College, formerly The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. During her Masters program she facilitated a workshop for Kids4Peace focused on group dynamics and conflict-resolution for Christian, Jewish, and Muslim leaders in Israel. She is certified in the Kantor Instrument, a leadership assessment and coaching tool based in structural dynamics that encourages self-awareness of preferences and behavior. The impact of the technique is the establishment of a shared language that enhances communication and self-compassion.
Ellen performs improvisational comedy and enjoys bringing its core concepts and a creative bent to her organizational design work. She also enjoys singing at weddings and other venues in Boston. She lives in Somerville with her partner and German Shepherd dog.
