David supports leaders and teams to make connections between mindset, behaviors, and impact, helping them become more intentional in growing their leadership capacity and delivering improved team results.

David has over 20 years of cross-industry management consulting and corporate team leadership experience across the full range of transformative change, including rapid growth, business process transformation, M&A, right-sizing, and closures. He has tackled difficult issues in fast-paced, complex business sectors such as banking, management consulting, healthcare, sports, manufacturing, media, and telecom. As a coach, facilitator, and business advisor, David energizes teams and leaders through his passion for helping those who desire to lead, offering them an agile set of tools and experiences as they explore creative ways to deliver on their priorities. He is also a lead faculty member in the Corentus Team Coach training program.

David was drawn to the power of coaching to drive his own leadership, becoming an ICF-certified coach himself while leading a large integration team with PwC Canada as it undertook its largest acquisition ever at the time. More recently, David has been advising and coaching senior leaders and leadership teams at leading North American companies, including BMO Financial, Bristol Myers Squibb, Brother, CBC, Loblaws, Napoleon, Atkins Realis and CI Financial, as they navigate the challenges of new work models, grow more diverse and inclusive teams, and lead unprecedented change. He has developed online versions of leadership programs and team performance interventions he developed for executives and team leaders in the media sector. David understands the importance of supporting leaders in making decisions and taking actions that will make a difference, today and tomorrow.

David works to create a “safe to be challenged” mindset with leaders and teams, helping them recognize and revise outdated beliefs, limiting assumptions, and behavior patterns that undermine their success. David’s passion is enabling leaders to “lead differently,” to have the critical discussions they’ve been unwilling or unable to have previously, empowering them to become more agile leaders for today’s quickly evolving business climate and workforce.
