Helen Carrington

A certified Leadership and Team Coach and Organizational Consultant, Helen has provided consulting, training, facilitation and coaching services over the past 20 years in both the private and public sectors. Building on her extensive experience as owner of a small management consultancy, Helen engages as a reflective partner with leaders, and their teams, to accelerate self-learning as they navigate the leadership transitions required for sustainable organizational growth. Her extensive travel experience for study, work, and leisure provides her with a unique advantage and personal ease when working with cultural differences, diversity and emergent change.

Helen earned a Master of Science in Management at the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University as a Fulbright Scholar, following her B.Sc. at the University of the West Indies. She has also worked as an International Staff Consultant on Group Relations conferences, most recently the Surviving and Thriving Conference 2020 with the Caribbean Group Relations Consulting and the Tavistock Institute. She is also certified in leadership assessments, coaching and training techniques such as Team Coaching, Appreciative Inquiry, Experiential Training Methodologies, The Leadership Circle Profile and the Team Management Profile.

Helen is a food enthusiast with a passion for cooking who enjoys trekking the world with her husband. She keeps fit and centered with weekly yoga classes and meet-ups with extended family and friends in the lush tropical outdoors of Trinidad, her home base.
