Hilary Ware is a leader whose passion for enterprise transformation has been sought after across industry sectors undertaking large scale change. She has earned respect for challenging norms through innovative strategic initiatives, building trusted relationships, attentive executing, and accelerating business outcomes and global workforce engagement for over four decades. Her deep business acumen and functional expertise enables a unique and forward-looking view of broader business implications. She engages executive teams to imagine what’s possible, ensuring a differentiated value proposition that maximizes shareholder equity and organization success and adds a refreshing dynamic to board room deliberations. She is a gifted advisor to board and c-suite leadership teams who value rapid evolution, profitable growth, and meaningful change to become or remain industry leaders.

Throughout her entire professional career, Hilary has been recruited to transform, professionalize, and guide c-suite and board leadership through significant business change. She was a standing attendee and advisor to Governance/Nomination and Compensation Committees in boardroom deliberations on transformation, CEO succession, executive compensation, and DEI organizational initiatives.

She was recruited to Cheniere Energy, Inc. in 2016 to lead the company's transformation and the world's leading liquid natural gas producer. As SVP, CHRO, she developed multi-faceted employee engagement strategies, built all requisite HR practices, and established robust performance, succession, compensation, talent, and DEI programs. She championed initiatives that scaled operations as the number of employees quintupled.

From 2009 until 2016, Hilary served as CAO with Bristow Group, a $1.2B provider of industrial aviation services. She was promoted from VP-HR after two years to lead the cultural integration toward a global rather than siloed, regional-based company. She facilitated the introduction of new business lines, established the first global administrative functions, led the global initiative toward an award-winning leadership development program, and worked closely with board leadership to support CEO and executive management succession plans.

Prior roles with BHP Billiton, Hanover, and BP also delivered organizational and business transformations, turnarounds, and M&A integration successes.

Hilary is currently active as a board member of Genesys Works, which provides pathways to career success for secondary school students in underserved communities; The Immunization Partnership, where she also serves on the governance committee; the National Energy Diversity and Inclusion Council; and the Susan G. Komen Regional Council. She is an advisor to several organizations as well, including MyNextSeason; the Board Advisory Council of the Lean in Equity and Sustainability organization; and Houston's Methodist Hospital Transplant Task Force.

Hilary was the recipient of the 2021 ExxonMobil Power Play Conqueror Award, recognized for leading Cheniere’s COVID response and as innovators for protecting employee safety and fostering an empowered workplace. Other representative awards include the 2022 Top 100 Women in Business, 2021 Energy Diversity Council Inclusive Leadership Award, and the 100 Most Influential Women in Energy 2021, from the National Diversity Council.

Hilary has completed coursework toward an MBA from the University of San Francisco. She earned a BA in Industrial Psychology from UC Berkeley. She attended Oxford University in England for one year.
