Jen brings over 20 years of experience in applying hard business discipline with expertise in managing the social complexity that is critical to program success. Jen’s coaching focus evolved from her strategy consulting work with leaders and teams transforming their organizations.  Jen uses curiosity, candid observations and gentle accountability to help clients draw out and achieve their highest potential.

Jen has coached seasoned executives and rising leaders across the federal and private sectors. Her coaching experience includes working with corporate executives, emerging federal leaders, management consultants, and non-profit founders. 

Coaching clients include: Naval Intelligence, National Business Aviation Association, Veterans Administration, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Maryland Vehicle Administration, Schonfeld TechWorx, SRA International, The Station Foundation (a non-profit serving retired Special Forces soldiers), Kids Connection Haiti (a non-profit organization serving post-orphanage young adults), and private individuals. 

Jen also provides strategy and organizational development consulting, as well as designs and teaches curriculum for leadership development programs. Clients include: Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Human Resources; Markon Solutions; The Clearing’s internal LDPs; NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership; and the Navy’s Navigation program. Jen’s strategy experience began with Silicon Valley start-ups at the turn of the century and shifted to the federal sector when she worked with component CIOs in the first CIO Council after the Department of Homeland Security was established. Her more recent work includes modernizing IT under the CIO of the Social Security Administration, and guiding leaders in IT and EEO at Health and Human Services.

Jen lives on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC with her spouse, three sons, a new dog (!), two cats, and a friendly lizard. Her favorite little-known DC treasure is Fern Valley at the National Arboretum.
