Corentus Consultant, Facilitator & Trainer
Kate's career-long focus and passion has been on training and coaching that is experiential, transformational, and practical.
Kate is a facilitator, coach, learning leader and relationship builder with 20 years in the business learning space. She has coached and trained leaders and high potentials in every industry in the Fortune500, including American Express, GE, NASA, Procter & Gamble and Abbott Labs, and at Harvard, Columbia, Duke and IMD Business Schools.
Kate started her career as an actor and improv comedian, traveling the country to perform at theaters, universities and coffee houses. She parlayed her extensive acting and improv training to coach leaders in vocal quality, body language, expressiveness, and leadership presence. She has traveled extensively as a trainer and coach, working in Scotland, Germany, Italy and the UK. As a learning leader, she led the conversion of in-person training to virtual and online solutions; in her non-profit work she was able to scale trauma-informed online training to hundreds of health care and behavioral health professionals in the US and Haiti during the pandemic.
She has two academic degrees with an education focus, and an ATD Certificate in Blended Learning. She is a life-long meditator and has studied with such mindfulness masters as Sophie MacLaren and Thomas Hübl. She volunteers with Girl Scouts and in voter registration.
