Laura Porter

An educator at heart and by training, Laura has a deep commitment to encouraging empowerment within others.She leads with curiosity, compassion, and integrity to develop perspective-taking that enables others to purposefully transform the way they show up to themselves, the people around them, and the work they seek to accomplish.  

 Laura is a consultant, facilitator, and team coach with 25 years of experience partnering with leaders and teams to strengthen relationships, unleash potential, and drive meaningful results.

 She has worked extensively in educational and nonprofit systems, supporting organizations in strategic planning, leadership development, and change management. Over the course of her career, she has coached and trained more than 3,000 educators and team leaders, designing and facilitating initiatives that improve communication, collaboration, decision-making, and organizational effectiveness.  

 Laura has deep expertise in research-based instructional practices, leadership supervision and evaluation, and data-driven team development.She has worked with leaders across industries - including foundations, financial services, emergency management, and start-ups - guiding them through transformation at the individual, team, and organizational levels.

 In 2024, Laura expanded her training and facilitation expertise with team and organizational coaching certifications from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (Australia) and Corentus (US). As a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), she is committed to ongoing learning and upholding the highest standards of coaching excellence.

 She is the founder of Authentis, Inc, partnering with organizations to create sustainable impact through leadership development, team effectiveness, and systemic change.
