Mark Zumwalt

Mark has real-life experience in leading people, teams, and organizational change within the workplace. At Microsoft, Mark led organizational change teams, taught coaching and leadership skills, and built sales excellence programs. He led successful complex global change projects, partnering across sales, engineering, marketing, and training orgs.

As a coach and consultant, Mark has collaborated with clients in healthcare, technology, media, finance, pharma, and higher education.

Through his work as a pro bono mediator in the New York State civil and housing courts, Mark has helped clients to navigate conflict, conduct meaningful conversations, and create resolutions based on mutual understanding.

Mark integrates his real-life experience as an organizational leader with his education and experience in coaching, counseling, organizational change, and alternative dispute resolution. His commitment to curiosity and intellectual rigor drive him to explore the current research in psychology, neuroscience, and related fields and to help his clients to apply this wisdom to their own leadership.

Mark lives in New York City, where he can often be found on his bicycle. He has learned that the secret to thriving in New York City is to have escapes from it and gets into the woods and waters of New York and New England as often as possible.
