Yotam Schachter

Corentus Leadership Coach & Facilitator

Yotam loves helping people have great conversations - in teams, one on one, and with themselves.

Yotam Schachter is a Corentus leadership coach and facilitator.

As a coach, Yotam helps clients create more of the outcomes they really want with less friction, internal and external. As they make the transition from what got them “here” to what will get them “there,” Yotam helps his clients trust in the capacities they have developed over the years while letting go of the vigilance or exertion those capacities used to require. He brings to the work a deep personal warmth and a sharply perceptive eye for clients’ gifts, challenges, and opportunities.

As a facilitator, Yotam has worked with leaders at Google, Unilever, Egon Zehnder, Novartis, Astra Zeneca, Accenture, and several late-stage startups and environmental nonprofits. He’s had a transformational impact on clients and program participants ranging from admins and individual contributors up to the Fortune 500 C-Suite.

Prior to his current work, Yotam consulted with Dialogos International, surfacing insights about company cultures to support change and break deleterious cycles. Yotam previously worked in operations at McMaster-Carr Supply Company, and in leadership analysis at Ruane, Cunniff and Goldfarb's Acacia hedge fund. He holds a bachelors in Math from the University of Chicago.

Yotam’s areas of specialty include:

  • Balancing polarities, such as task-orientation and relationship-orientation, or short-term and long-term goals

  • Leadership agility, adapting styles to the needs of the moment

  • Personal mastery, replacing reactive habits with increased collaboration, creativity, and purpose

  • Thriving in complexity, leading boldly and sustainably amidst constant change

Coming from a family of Hassidic Rabbis, Yotam has been steeped in Jewish wisdom on leadership and personal development his whole life. In many different contexts, Yotam has spent years studying the development and transformation of living systems – from physiological transformation in myofascial bodywork to cultural transformation in multinational corporations. His formal coaching training includes tools from Adaptive Leadership, Immunity to Change, Adult Development, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Coaching.

Yotam lives in Boston, Massachusetts with his wife - a writer and climate activist - and their young son. As a parent, he specializes in neurodiversity-affirmative boundary-setting and the construction of Duplo marble-races.
